This European Victorian bracelet circa 1880’s is in extremely fine condition. Bangle bracelet was created in 14k rose gold. The lock is a tongue and groove style and to release you must press the ridged ½ circle which is found to one side of this lock. Bangle bracelet lock and release is in exceptional condition and still clicks when closed.
I have examined this bangle bracelet for any backstamps and gold content marks and on the inside part of the bangle is clearly marked “585” which is the European hallmark for 14k gold. All metal has been tested and will be guaranteed to be 14k rose gold and seed pearls.
Antique bangle measures approximately 6 ¼ inches in length and 3/8 inches in width at the widest part. Total weight of this spectacular piece of fine jewelry is 5.5 grams. The center oval is made up of 24 of the very tiniest pale blue cast seed pearls. This piece not only comes with a very fine clasp but has a safely chain for extra security.
There is no looseness to the clasp or hinge and this bangle bracelet is in near perfect condition with very light everyday wear noted. I have cleaned and polished this remarkable bangle to remove a good deal of the dark patina to best showcase this item in as close condition as when previously created.
