Sweet little vintage doll trunk for your little one. Measures 7 1/8" length, 3 3/4" wide and 3 3/4" depth. In good vintage condition with silk fabric hinge. Interesting hand written note on the inside of the lid. It was given as a Christmas gift by Pauline Hughes to sister Jane for Christmas 1931. Apparently the box contained Pearls and it states that the Pearls were stolen four years later at the Driskell Hotel in Austin, Texas while Jane was attending a Nursing Convention. What a treasure to know a little history provided by the original owner on this little trunk.
