A wonderful antique Chinese wicker & split bamboo basket c1900-1920s.

The handwoven basket has been lacquered, the top is painted with a floral/fruit design.

The round basket has a square base, it is shown on all sides, inside and out.

Very well made with a tight weave. Excellent antique condition, no major damage and minimal age appropriate wear.

Measures 8.25" in diameter, the bottom is 4.5" square, it stands 5" high.

A really lovely antique Chinese basket for display or used for a sewing basket.
