6.0 ounce coffee or tea cup from Jindezhen China. Reliable restaurant dinner ware, this pattern became popular during the Chinese cultural revolution period and beyond. Pink/red enamel combined with yellow, green and blue ground colors.

Heavy in symbolism, the Chinese calligraphy translates to 'double happiness". The flower decorations alternate with a design of a tendrilled scrolled vine. These may signify the spread of religion. Colorful Greek key rim decoration. Circa 1970 to late 20th century.
