A fine cherry top gaming table with turret or cookie corners, birdseye maple veneered panel frieze with a central flame birch veneer medallion flanked by delicate zig zag inlay, all supported by four tapered round legs. Probably New England in origin, circa 1790-1820, in very good overall condition, with some minor splits near the hinges, some minor edge losses, top scratches, and other minor imperfections and wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 29 ¼” H x 18 ½” W x 37 ¼” D, closed; 28 ⅝” H x 37” W, open. Ref: 604
