Adorable, Rare 2.25" bisque Bonzo dog. He has a sweet smiling face with his red mouth and tongue showing. He has flesh colored eyelids and muzzle. He is very clean and white. This little guy is perfect for a dollhouse or for sitting on a shelf with other doll related items. He is hard to come by, especially in this condition. Impressed on the back is: "BONZO, Copyr by, Geo. E. Studdy, 1024 51/2" indicating that 1024 is the mold number and the 5 1/2 is the size in centimeters.
Bonzo is in remarkably good condition. There is what appears to be a very small chip on the front of his tail, but this may have been done in manufacture as it is very smooth and not visible as it is on the bottom part of the tail. There is a spot on the back of his head that is a touch of gold paint from manufacture. It measures 2.25 inches high.
