RARE Antique Swedish sailor`s shaving box with mirror in wood of tramp art style , folk art . The shaving box comes with 2 each straight razor`s ( Bengall sheffield England ) . The shaving box was made under 1910 to 1911 because of the original post card in the top of the box of Goteborg Harbor from that time period . The box has a lock and key in one end , but the lock is not locking as to the pin in top . The box is 6 7/8 in x 10 3/8 in x 4 1/2 in and wt. 1534 grams or 3.38 lbs # . The mirror is 6 1/8 in long and a width 2 5/8 in . , the tray comes out to add another compartment for storage. As to collectible`s the shaving box is really rare to find . The box will make a great addition to any collector of shaving collectible`s . A really great item from the past that will last for years to come with Swedish craftmanship in the making of the box .
