Elaborately carved wooden spinning wheel 14"[36mm) with dark finish and lighter wood copper-color inlay heart design some [missing]on one side of the wheel that turns very easily, wooden decorative dangles, and carved bone finials and trim, actually works when foot pedal is pressed, labeled "Strasbourg" on pedal. The first picture is not correct as the marked pedal was in wrong place when I received it, the other pictures are correct. Excellent condition of the superbly detailed miniature spinning wheel. French, circa 1880. Scaled to work with 18" - 24" dolls is what I would say, please measure your intended doll, of course it is beautiful shown on it's own. Remarkable piece of work!
