This antique Minton trivet or tile is quite rare. One occasionally sees one with the very large profile of the Queen, but not with the elephant and ship and wreath around the portrait. I have seen another in Blue in a private collection, but have not seen any other in this lovely gold color. A lovely vestige of times gone by; a wonderful part of British Royalty.
