This contemporary self-taught artist, Carol Ann Knapp, paints in the style of the Indian River School and the style of the Florida Highwaymen. She has a talent that is fast being recognized as a promising artist of this decade. Her prices have gone up quickly as her work is exhibited. Her work has been shown at the Cinco De Mayo exhibit at Artist Guild Gallery in Vero Beach, Florida, and for many years in the Annual Pelican Island Wildlife Exhibition in Indian River County. I consider her work offering a very real opportunity for appreciation. Her talent is amazing. This particular painting is quite dramatic and arresting. It shows the lightning as a true art form of Nature.
