The Florida sky is so incredibly beautiful. Sunsets themselves can become works of art. Moonlight can be a subject in itself. John Maynor, (American, 1948-2016) Hall of Fame Original Florida Highwaymen loved our exquisite Florida skies and is known for his wonderful renditions of the sky. He was an impressionist extraordinaire and is sorely missed. He used the palette knife so skillfully. His works are in some of the most prestigious collections internationally. The Florida Highwaymen are in the Smithsonian, as well as other museums.
