For sale is an antique 19th century hand colored print titled "The Brigand's Daughter" that I acquired from a sale in Pennsylvania. I have learned that a brigand is basically a bandit. It has been hand colored in green and blue, and the mat has been hand cut and hand decorated with black 6-petal daisies in each corner. It has been placed in a black and gold painted frame, which I believe is original, and has the original metal loop hanger on the top. The framed print measures about 9 1/4" x 7 1/4" with sight measurements of 7 3/4" x 5 3/4". The print is in nice antique condition, with overall light toning, but no significant issues. The paper backing is a new replacement. Please look carefully at the pictures as they are an important part of the description, and be sure to ask any questions. What a nice addition to your collection of hand colored prints!
